Applicable principles

RAMDDA applies data protection principles including lawfulness, fairness, transparency, purpose limitation, data minimisation, accuracy, storage limitation, integrity, confidentiality, and accountability.

Processing in the portal

The portal may process account details, application inputs, uploaded documents, review status, communication records, and authentication information needed to run the application and support workflows securely.

EACEA / EU programme reporting

Where required for EU programme management and reporting, certain applicant, reserve-list, scholarship holder, student, trainee, and staff data may be shared with programme administrators, partner institutions, EACEA, and relevant EU programme reporting tools, including the EU Funding & Tenders Portal or mobility reporting tools.

This sharing is limited to what is necessary for administration, validation, monitoring, and compliance purposes.

Data subject rights

Applicants may request access, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, or raise objections where applicable. They may also ask about portability and automated decision-making safeguards, subject to the applicable legal framework.

How to exercise rights

Rights requests and privacy questions can be submitted through the portal contact/support channel. Where appropriate, RAMDDA may request enough information to verify identity before responding.
